As you may recall in September, we received a call for help from the Ramakrishna Headquarters, Belur Math, regarding a devastating flood in the western part of India. Sanga members contributed to this fund in answer to the plea for food, supplies, and medical relief. The following letter was sent to us upon receiving our donation.
Dear Babaji Bob Kindler,
We thankfully acknowledge the receipt of your letter dated September 8th 2008, along with the donation for Rs. 19,350/Rupees nineteen thousand three hundred fifty (US $ 450 by cheque), being the amount contributed by Sarada Ramakrishna Vivekananda, SRV Associations‚ U.S.A. towards our Bihar Flood Relief work. Please find enclosed our official Receipt No. 007351 dated 26/09/2008 for the same.
A brief report of our ongoing flood relief work and a comprehensive report of our various relief activities from 1st April 2007 to 31st March 2008 are enclosed for your kind information
