SRV Reopens Official Hawai’i Shrine

For 10 years, the official Hawaii shrine has been lovingly cared for by Babaji and Loke Ma in their little house on the slopes of Mauna Kea.  Last June, the large room across the hall in our Waimea center became available to us.  

History of the SRV Hawai’i shrine

In November, 2007, the SRV Hawaii center in Honoka’a had to close due to lack of funds.

The official SRV shrine was then moved into Babaji and Loke Ma’s little home. The shrine remained private and only initiates could visit on special occasions.  Pictured here is the Kali Puja of 2016 held at the shrine in their home.
