In this world, even in modern times, the Eastern hemisphere is well-known for its close relationship with the gods and demigods. In the West, God may be called to mind at times, but the lesser gods have been abandoned by all memory. In order to bring these important powers back into life and mind, both worship and sacrifices have to be made to them, consciously, as was performed with devotion and dedication by the ancients in all the long-standing religions of the world.
