     In the Annapurna Upanisad, an illumined soul tells his sincere and aspiring son how the vision of the Divine Mother came to him after decades of spiritual practice and concentration.  The unexpected wonder of this vision was not so much the internal spectacle itself, which is rare enough, but the dissolution of all mental delusions after the vision faded away.

     The rishi then continued to inform his son of five major hurdles to the attainment of spiritual life and Freedom, and how dedication to the Great Devi Goddess secures Her Grace and puts an end to all false appearances for all time.
