The Way of the Visionary and the Path of the Mystic

     When the rare but all-important spiritual path is contemplated, and its various modes are well-considered, it becomes apparent that the two main inner avenues which freedom-seeking souls conduct themselves along to merge in Divine Reality are, to put it simply, “The Way of Light” and “The Way of Sound.”  Sincerely seeking souls who set foot and travel along these twin pathways are known by the world and to the seers, alike, as visionaries and mystics, respectively.

     For the Visionary, to see is to believe, and nothing conveys the Truth of Existence as clearly the principle of Jyoti — the Light which shines from the transcendent Portal which opens at the center of the forehead, symbolically speaking, often called the Ajna Chakra or “Third Eye.”  As far as Mystics are concerned, the vibration of an “inner oracle,” often called “the striking of the Unstruck Sound” — The Word, AUM — attracts their focused attention.  Though the two paths are never disconnected from one another, deep scrutiny of each is both informative and enlightening.
