Divine Mother as Jagaddhatri

Exceedingly gentle while She holds Her children, the Goddess who bears all beings and all worlds does so for a great purpose. She is not just the “Mother of the Universe,” as She is sometimes titled, for the physical universe is only one small cross section of the realms that She presides over. The entire daharakasha, or “Kingdoms of Heaven within,” are Hers to watch over as well.
Nevertheless, the physical world is the one most in need of Her compassionate care. Like a newborn baby lying in a maternity ward, unaware of the nearby presence of its mother, similarly, are the many souls of this world unconscious of the presence of Jagaddhatri, and they will live as lost orphans unless they offer themselves into Her arms of overall protection and sustenance.
