The Tarasara Upanisad, found in the Shukla-Yajur Veda, contains vital spiritual teachings on The Word, AUM, the powerful Taraka Mantra of eight syllables, and the deities associated with each syllable. It proceeds via questions asked of the great rishi, Yajnavalkya, by the illumined being, Brihaspati, and his son, Bharadvaja.
Highest philosophy and deepest Tantra are combined in its concise three chapters with their five sections of slokas combined with metered verses, all pertinent to the formless Brahman, the Nondual Reality.
