Sanatana Dharma, Eternal Truth & Its Exponents
Sri Ram stated, ‘Always be a supporter of dharma, never its detractor.’ I have noticed how many beings coming to spiritual life betray the teacher, their new sangha, and thereby themselves — and let down the dharma in this world as well. Theirs is a pollution far worse than that of nature.
Jesus was an exponent of Sanatana Dharma (Eternal Truth), not Christianity; that religion did not exist in His time. Sanatana Dharma as Truth pre-exists Buddha, Krishna, Ram, and Vasishtha, therefore it must be eternal.
Swami Aseshanandaji also taught a few Christian nuns that came to him, secretly, ‘confessing’ their love of Sri Ramakrishna. He left them in their original religion and told them to look upon Sri Ramakrishna as God in their secret hearts. You see, we [Vedantists] are not here to convert, but to commingle and converge. Converting others to one’s own religion is the work of the prideful and fearful ego, not the heart and soul, and is one of the most detrimental and misleading aspects of fundamentalist religion.
If you are a transmitter of dharma, you have to also receive karma. Great souls always take on the suffering of the world’s people around them.
Swami Vivekananda is Siva, Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha.
Sri Ramakrishna is Sri Ram, Sri Krishna, Mother Kali.
Holy Mother is all forms of Divine Mother.
When we study Vedanta and all of Sanatana Dharma under the light of Sarada, Ramakrishna, and Vivekananda, we get the full weight of the fruit. The flesh of the fruit is already ours to realize. We just need to separate out the peelings, stem, core, and particularly, the seeds to find out how much weight we are attributing to them so that we can properly assess the flesh.
India is the Mother of all religions. She was not just the first to appear in the cradle of civilization; She created the cradle itself. She rocked all the tiny babies of world religion in it and nurtured them, then brought forth their Messengers, Prophets, Avatars, Buddhas, etc. If you go to Her, She will give you the true reckoning of what the meaning of life and existence is all about. The three steps to the door of Mother India in this age are Vivekananda, Sarada, and Sri Ramakrishna.
[On the main chart of the Guru/Shishya seminar, Babaji unwrapped the teachings on the Jnana Guru and the Ajnana Guru (discerning the difference between authentic and inauthentic teachers). For this, he used the charts on the “Four Levels of a Knowers of Brahman” and also “The Fourteen Stages of Upper and Lower Knowledge” (ibid. p. 233)]
There are levels of Enlightenment that ‘kick in’ after the destruction of ignorance. A teacher at the stage of Shubhecha can easily get in and correct bhranti darshana, deluded thinking. One needs Shubhecha to get free of samsara.
Real Intelligence is that which flows directly through the unconditioned mind.
